Summer 2016 Boating has Begun!!

The girls have 3 days of school left next week, but we started the boating season off in Minnesota today.  It was a cloudy/rainy morning, but that didn't stop our crazy tubers.

Whit enjoyed her ride, but had enough sense to get off before it got too fast!

The hot tub was perfect for warming up afterwards.

Hannah is 11!!

It's hard to believe Hannah is 11!  Since moving back to the US she has done a great job getting comfortable at school and meeting new people. She has also enjoyed a few new hobbies....show pig ownership and softball. It's been wonderful watching her mature, but still enjoying herself!  Here are a few highlights since moving back:
First day at Boone Middle School

Meeting Asia for the first time

Becoming an ISU fan

Meeting friends at school and sports

Softball

Celebrating turning 11 with a lot of nacho cheese and carbs!!

Softball Sisters

We had a busy night at the ballpark!!  Luckily, the Bigs are on the same team, so it was only 3 different games!!!

3 Chesnut #3s

The girls enjoy playing, but they love ending softball nights at the concession stand.

A Great Day for a Little Color

We did a 5K Color Run to help raise money for Kaylee's school this afternoon. These 4 were nice and bright white before the run!!!
We ran through a few powder stations, but they still weren't colored enough. Luckily, we were each given a color pouch to use afterwards.

They loved covering themselves in the powder!

Guess her headband was tight enough to keep the color out!!!

For the Love of the Game

The girls have been enjoying their soccer seasons.  It took us a bit to get used to the US busy sports schedule.  In Malaysia, the girls would do after school activities at school and take a bus home.  Hannah also did sports through the school, and I would have to pick her up at 5:15.  We did Saturday Sports through the school, but that was just for an hour on Saturday mornings and all 3 Bigs could do it at the same time!  Just a few more games and then the soccer season will be over, and their focus will be softball and TBall.
