On Tuesday night while Hannah was at gymnastics, the Middles, Justin and I went to the night market. It was very similar to a farmer's market you would see in the US. We got there around 5:30 and most tents were all set up and ready for business. While we were walking around a few more vendors were coming in.
There were many fruits for sale....some we were familiar with(we bought grapes) and a few we haven't tried before.
We bought a cucumber and a sweet corn.
There were also stands with meat and fish.....I will just let you picture that yourself. There were a few times I had to tell Kaylee to just walk faster and breathe through your mouth. This market was different from the wet market we have been to because there weren't any live animals.
This market was a mix of wet(raw) and dry(clothing and non perishables). Since it just runs certain hours and days it doesn't have the typical wet market feel because things don't need to be washed down....literally making the market space wet.
The girls were tempted by the watches.
There were also stands with clothing, but nothing handmade.
There were quite a few stands with food, so it made it EVEN HOTTER!!!
This was my first time at the night market, but Justin and the girls went when Uncle Michael was in town. I am sure we will all be back in the fall-----we leave for the US in 2 weeks!!!
Life is Good with outings to the marekt!
