Valentine's Gift

Thursday, we got the best news.....our sea shipment was going to be delivered the next day!!!!!  

It was the BEST Valentine's gift!!!

When Justin signed the papers it was exactly 2 months from when he signed them in Indiana!

Was hoping once they cut the lock off we didn't see someone else's name written on all the boxes!!!

Since they couldn't bring the big truck into the neighborhood, they took smaller loads in the other truck.

 I thought it would add a lot of extra time, but it was actually a good process: 

Load the little truck

Empty onto driveway

While carrying those in the house....Fill truck again

By the end of the day, we had all the beds assembled and some of the boxes emptied and bigger things unwrapped.

They took what waste were done with that day and will come back for the rest soon.

Most of the boxes are emptied, but rooms are by no means close to being ready.

Macy and Kaylee don't seem to mind the mess.  They love that their baby dolls can sleep in their rooms with them now.  Kaylee has been sleeping on the top bunk...she never wanted to do that in Indiana.

 Whitney has been loving her crib!!!

A small pile of boxes and a space heater(probably won't need that here) to be picked up for the trash.

Before the truck showed up, I warned Justin that this may be the day I have my "We moved to Malaysia Meltdown."  I was feeling a bit emotional and dreading all the work/organizing that would be coming.

Happy to report it didn't happen(yet)......Still waiting for whatever will turn me into a hot mess.

Hoping to have everything organized and put away sometime soon.  The office will have to wait for Justin...he headed to Indonesia for a few days today.  This is the start of his 6 week tour of Asia.  For the next 6 weeks, he will be visiting each of the countries he will be doing business in.

This week, I am also trying to work in a variety of meals.  Since we only had a pot and small pan before our things showed up we ate a lot of tacos and spaghetti.  Just went to the store and had to find a few substitutes for things on my list.........Hope it all works out!!!
