8 is Great!

Kaylee Jean is 8!!!!

Most days she is the perfect mix of sassy and sweet!!!

She loves her sisters, playing with friends and anything to do with baking or cooking.

Macy turns 6!!!

Since birth, 6 years ago, Macy has always been a very laid back, go with the flow kind of gal.  That comes in handy for her a lot being 1 of 4 sisters!  She is also the kind of girl you want to be around......Her smile is contagious and you can't help but be happy when you are with her.  Of course, she has her off moments...but they don't last long!

A Little Sunday Sewing

After 8 days with Daddy away in the US, I needed a little time for an "alone project"!

Just a few hours of me, my sewing machine,

and some fun fabric.

I have been wanting to make a bag to hold everything I may need during substitute teaching. It's been awhile since I used this pattern, but I knew it would be the perfect size. 

I love these colors together, so there may be a Chesnut Sister set of dresses in the near future. 

This is only my second sewing project since last Spring. I may have gotten bit by the sewing bug again today.
