First Day for the Littles

 

Whit is really excited for her first day. She is most excited about ordering school lunch....chicken nuggets!

 

I wanted a pic of all 4 with signs, so Hannah had to hold one in her 3rd day.

14 Years!!

Who wouldn't want to spend their 14th Anniversary at a water park?!?!  Just another adventure......

All 6 of us, plus the Berans love Fixer Upper, 

so when we started talking about going to Texas a stop in Waco was a must!!!

 It was really hot, but it was nice for the kids to get to run around for a bit.

 Hannah got quite a few 4H project ideas while we were there...including this picture she wants to enter next year!

 It was a quick stop, but so worth it.....It could only have been better if we saw Chip and JoAnna!

Then, it was off for a few more hours to Arlington.

A Quick Stop in Houston

One of the perk of all sleeping in the RV was the next morning, we could just close up the sides and get going right away.  No need to get anyone up to potty or eat breakfast!

Watch out Houston....Here we Come!

 I'd like to say we got dressed before stopping at the gas station, but we didn't....

 We also didn't get dressed before checking into the hotel!

 We did finally shower before happy hour!

Then, it was off to the Astros vs. Yankees game! 

 The next morning, we met some of our good friends, the Goldens, from KL at the hotel for breakfast.

What a surprise......

While chatting, a familiar face comes up behind us.  Another KL friend who just moved back to Houston was staying at the hotel before her house is ready.  It really is a small world! 

Life is Good in Houston....even if we were only there for 18 hours!
