Singapore Day 1---Universal Studios

We took the bus from our hotel to Universal Studios...about a 5 minute drive.  We stayed on Sentosa Island and I would describe it as a Singapore tourists dream.....It has a ton of sites to see and everything is within walking distance or a free bus or tram ride away.

The driver took our family shot----decided it would be to hard to explain he cut Whitney out and could he try again.
We got there before the park opened and it was already really hot at 9:30!!!!

We started in Madagascar and the girls were excited to see the characters and Whitney was able to enjoy a few of the rides.

 Next up...Far, Far Away

After lunch, we went to the Waterworld show.

The girls (and Justin and I) enjoyed the stunts.  I was amazed by what they were able to do with jet skis and boats in the tiny area.

We caught the very end of Sesame Street show.  We don't watch Sesame Street so the girls weren't too heart broken.....Later in the day, Macy referred to Big Bird as "Elmo's yellow friend."

 Words to live by:

6 hours later, we made it back to Madagascar.......
Round 2 of the first ride.
We headed to the start of the parade a little early to get front row seats and have a snack.
The $15 we paid at the beginning of the day was well worth it for the double stroller!

In Grade 3, they talk about early civilizations, so Hannah was very interested in the Ancient Egypt area.
Hannah took us for a drive through the Mummy movie.
The girls loved the hip hop dance performance.
Hannah was even part of it!

We went outside the park to eat at our favorite dumpling restaurant in Malaysia.
We debated going back in for the firework show, but decided that 10 hours of fun was enough for one day!

Life is Good at Universal Studios.
