Bridging into Brownies

Last night Hannah became a Brownie!!!!
For the last 2 years she has been a Daisy(the first step of the Girl Scouts program).
After $1cheeseburgers with the group we headed to a local park for the Bridging ceremony.
Note:  When the special is $1 cheeseburgers they need to get your money someplace and it is with your drinks.  I spent more on 3 Sprites than I did on food.  Lesson Learned:  Order water next time for the kids.
They start every biweekly meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and the Daisy Promise.
Aunt Ellen was in town for work, so she joined us for the event.
Kaylee took advantage of an open stroller!!!

Daddy was nice enough to head back to the car for our chairs and blanket!!
Hannah loved walking over the bridge and getting her new Brownie vest!!!

Her leaders were nice enough to iron on some of the patches before giving them to the girls!!!

Crafty Kristy brought these adorable Daisy cupcakes.  We will be making some soon---so cute and the petals are just cut marshmallows dipped in sprinkles!!!

The girls were also given their prizes for cookie sales.
At school they are doing a countdown to the end of the year.  Each day they do something special with a letter of the alphabet.  Today was the W day:  Wear something special......A perfect day to wear your new cookie sales shirt---and it has a peace sign...even better!!!

Life is Good when you graduate into a new level of an activity!!!!
