Due to great timing, we went on our "Look,See" trip over Fall Break.
We had to do a little scrambling to get the girls taken care of, but they have great grandparents and other family members who teamed up to watch them for a week.
We haven't done much international travel, so we didn't really know what to expect with business class. From Chicago to Hong Kong it was awesome!!!!
We had our own little cubicles and they brought us a ton of food.
I ate, watched a movie, took a sleeping pill, woke up, had more food and watched another movie.
15 hours later........we were in Hong Kong!!!......Not really sure how the girls will do on this long flight. They are getting roller backpacks for Christmas to fill with activities, but they may go through those in an hour!!!!
During our layover, we showered at the airport---actually very nice--and watched a few episodes of Homeland....one of my new favorite shows.
Then, a much shorter flight--about 4 hours and we were there..........at 5:15am their time(Malaysia is 12 hours ahead of Eastern time).
We took a car to our hotel, Traders in downtown Kuala Lumpur(KL to the locals--and now the Chesnuts).
The hotel was right across from the Petronas Twin Towers.
The towers are a well known landmark so it was nice to be staying in the KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Center) area.
Life is Good in business class for long flights.
