Day 1

The first stop on Day 1 was the Mont' Kiara International School.  They were on fall break so there weren't any students around.
It was a very nice school with an open air concept.

Elementary was in one wing and the older grades were on the other side.

It is an American International school so it has a very similar feel to any school you would find in the US.

Expats from all over the world attend the school.
We visited a few play schools for Macy, but didn't take pictures because there were students.

We switched guides and starting looking at houses.
The entire trip we had great women helping us--Florene and Judy were awesome and Lilly does a great job taking care of everything you might need.

The main difference in house hunting in Malaysia was either the owner of the house or the other realtor was there to let you in.

I've been pretty positive and open minded about this move, but right about here I lost it a bit.........

See the spiral staircase?????
I was thinking how can I have 4 kids in a house like this?!?!?!

You can't see all the water features, but there are a lot of little pools in the yard.

How could I move my girls here when they love their school and neighborhood?!?!?!
I turned to Justin and told him we could just go home now.

I wasn't a total hot mess, but maybe a luke warm one!!!!
It could have had something to do with getting in at 5 am and having to get ready in the work out room since our room wasn't ready!!!

We continued the house hunt and looked at bungalows(stand alone houses) and a few semi-attached ones (sharing one wall) in gated, guarded communities.

The communities all have shared pools and usually a playground.

When we got back to the hotel we walked over to the Petronas Towers.  This is the view looking back at our hotel.
At the base of the towers there is a HUGE shopping mall.
We were beat so we went to the room and I fell asleep about 4:30.
Justin ordered Domino's pizza, I woke up and had a piece and went back to sleep.

Life is a little rough with jet lag, looking at houses in a new country---but it's still GOOD!!!
