Bubbles is in the House!!!!

Our little buddy from last year is back. He must have known we were unpacking Christmas decorations because he showed up while we were putting things out. Thankfully, his name was written in the book he came along with because I couldn't remember his name!!!! He and his friends were also in a cartoon the other night so we saw what he actually does at night.

The girls have been excited to find him each day.............Yesterday, it was about noon before Macy noticed he had moved, but she went running around to try and find him.

They have been really good about not touching him because then he wouldn't be able to fly back and tell Santa about their day!!! Hannah has been busy making notes for him to take back to Santa. She always mentions Stompeez slippers......each girl will be getting a pair Christmas morning.....she is hoping for the unicorn! In one letter she talked about loving Veterans...........I think their Veteran's Day program really touched her!

When Macy talks about him she refers to him as "Shelf on the Shelf"!!!!! She usually says, "Girls.........Girls.......Shelf on the Shelf is watching us!!!!!!!!"

Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

Our Black Friday is not spent at the mall hunting down the best deals..............Our day after Thanksgiving tradition is cutting down our Christmas tree. This year the weather was wonderful...........sunny and in the 60s!!!!!

That night we got out all the Christmas ornaments to decorate the tree. Macy was a little confused on what that meant so we had to explain it to her.

The girls have been really good about leaving the tree alone..............We have had 3 ornaments break this year and 2 of them were by ME!!!!! The third one broke when Macy brought it to us and said this came off the tree............then she dropped it on the wood floor and it shattered!

Helping a Sister Out

This morning, Hannah and Kaylee asked if they could get Whitney dresses............sounded like a good idea to me..........I was enjoying my coffee and breakfast. Listening to them change her diaper was classic.................Hannah had many questions for Kaylee about how to do it!!!! When they got to the changing of clothes I decided to snap a few pics. It was Kaylee's job to get her undressed and she did a great job.

Hannah again had questions for Kay about how to do the onesie.

They had great teamwork and Kaylee said,"Oh Gosh" A LOT!!!!!

After MANY failed attempts to try and get the shirt over her head, they decided that the blanket would be a good pretend dress!!!!

6 and a HALF!!!!!

Hannah had her 6th Birthday party at Sweet Treat Boutique and got this HUGE lollipop as a souvenir. It has been in our pantry until yesterday! The girls find it every once in awhile and ask if they can have some, but they are told NO!!!! After Thanksgiving lunch we let Hannah have it for 15 minutes.

6 and a HALF November 25th!!!!

For the first few minutes "the middles" just stared at her and whined that they wanted some. Finally, she decided it would be nice to share...........

...............and everyone was happy and stickey!!!!

It was a very quite 15 minutes!!!!

Noise is Good!!!

I saw this at the doctor's office yesterday when I took Whitney in for a possible ear infection and "eye goobers". She had an infection, and Macy had one the day before when I took her in. As annoying as it was to go 2 days in a row, I am so thankful that for the most part the girls are 100% healthy.

As I write this it is 4:30am. I have been up with a stuffed up Whitney since 3:45, but she is happy, smiling and cooing............Wouldn't change it for anything!!!!!

Prayer for a Tired, Irritable Parent

Healthy children make lots of noise

They sing, they shout, they belly laugh, they fight, they bang things together, they bounce things, they cry, they scream, them make lost of noise

They play loud

God, bless my healthy children. Give me new ears, ears that hear the music of their noise

Give me new understanding, understanding that doesn't crush their spirits with my intolerance and oversensitivity

Give me a new Peace, a Peace that is grateful for the sounds created by healthy children.

November is a big month for birthdays at our house........

18th---Whitney 3 months

25th--Hannah 6 and a HALF

26th--Macy 3

29th--Kaylee 5

and not to be left out....Daddy--December 1st

This year the girls will be getting American Girl dolls. Kaylee and Macy love playing with dolls so we thought this would be a great time to begin the AG craziness!!!!

I can't wait to see their face when they hear they are getting dolls. This weekend they will open their gifts and this is what they will see:

An American Girl catalog

Dress for them

A matching dress for their doll

Ruffle pants that match a pair they already have

We are headed to Chicago on December 9th......it may be a long wait for them, but we will get online so they can see what they are interested in----I am sure the list will be long!!!

On the 10th they will shop and that night we have dinner with the dolls.

Lately, Macy has been wearing her swimsuit whenever we are home, and when we need to leave she puts clothes over it. Her favorite suit is this green one---she calls it the one with the dress....she also reminds me every time she puts it on that you don't need to wear underpants with a swimsuit!
