If You Give a Macy a Doughnut

Yesterday, I felt like Macy was part of one of Laura Numeroff's stories in her series If You Give a ________ a ____________. We had doughnuts left over from Sunday's breakfast and she had one for an afternoon snack on Monday. Here is how the afternoon played out..........

If you give a Macy a doughnut, she will ask for a glass of milk.

Her hands will get sticky from the glaze, so she will ask for a wet paper towel.

The paper towel won't do the trick, so she will need to wash her hands.

Her clothes will get wet while she is washing, so she will need to change into yet another outfit for the day.

Since she is naked she will decide to try and potty.

When she looks in the mirror she will notice her milk mustache and want to wash her face.

She will not want to put on clothes, so she will pick out a swimsuit.

If you have a swimsuit on, you need a beach tote filled with toys to go with it.

So she heads to the basement to pack the essentials.... cell phone, camera, baby doll, etc.

While in the basement she decides to play with the kitchen and finds the play bakery items.

And chances are.............if she finds a fake doughnut she will want a real one!!!!!
