Spiced Pumpkin Cupcakes

I found a recipe the other day in Better Homes and Gardens and wanted to try it out before Thanksgiving and I am so glad I did. Baking them made the house smell great and they were so yummy!!!!!
Here is what you need for cupcakes:
1 package (18 1/4 oz) yellow cake mix
1 pkg.(4-serving size) vanilla instant pudding mix
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 cup each of oil and water
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

For the frosting:
1 package(8 oz.) cream cheese
1/4 cup butter
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 box(16 oz.) powdered sugar

Spiced Pumpkin Cupcakes
Beat all ingredients with electric mixer on low speed just until moistened. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Spoon batter into 24 paper-lined muffin cups, filling 2/3 full.

Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Frost cooled cupcakes with Spiced Cream Cheese Frosting. Makes 24 cupcakes

Spiced Cream Cheese Frosting
Beat softened cream cheese and softened butter with vanilla and cloves until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in powdered sugar until smooth.

Notice anything different from my usual cooking pictures?!?!?!?!?

The girls are no where to be found!!!!!!

Once they used the mixer Kaylee asked if they could ask if the neighbor girl could play. They ended up staying there all afternoon. So I had to finish baking by myself which was fine. I got to eat 3 cupcakes with A LOT of frosting, and didn't have to explain to anyone why Mommy got to eat more than they did!!!!

Life is Good with or without little baking helpers!!!!
