The girls finished their Valentines yesterday after a 3 day process---and they loved every minute!!!!
On Monday, while Hannah didn't have school we made heart-shaped crayons. A friend had a post about making these cute little favors. We went through all of our crayons and took out all the broken and nonCrayola ones.........Apparently we eat a lot because we had a lot of restaurant ones. After a couple hours we had sore hands, dirty fingernails.............but 72 "New" crayons for our friends.
Tuesday, they painted pictures for their teachers, decorated hearts with stickers and Kaylee put their names on a few cards for nonschool valentines..........Since Hannah, Kaylee, Macy and Whitney was too much to fit in the tiny FROM space we opted for: H,K,M and W!!!!
Wednesday, was bag stuffing day!!!!!!!
We had cards, coloring book pages, suckers and crayons to put in each one..........hopefully everything made it in each bag!!!!
Macy picked out the perfect outfit for the activity----swimsuit and her "sparkly shoes"!!!!
Since the girls picked packs with 32 cards and suckers there were a few leftover and we had to do a taste test.
After school, Hannah loved putting all her classmates names on her animal cards. It was a team effort to fill her bags.
Life is Good when kids feel great about giving.
