Camp Ada

A few weeks ago, Hannah and I went "camping" with her Daisy troop. I say "camping" because it wasn't in a tent in the wilderness. It was at a very nice Girl Scout camp with a bunk with electricity, running water and flush toilets. It was a great experience outdoors with a wonderful group of moms and girls. I am so glad Hannah wanted to do Daisies, and that she got placed with such a great troop.
Once we picked our cots and got settled, we had a sack lunch.

We did geocaching. The girls read clues and found boxes where they left a note for the next group.

Before our Fall camping trip the girls made situpons---notice no quotes on that one...
...for that trip we were in tiny cabins without electricity and you had to walk about 200 yards to the potty.
They made swaps to exchange with other Girls Scouts at different events. Since it was St. Patty's Day one was a rainbow with gold.
Later in the day they painted their nails green, we had tacos for dinner, we went on a hayride and made S'mores over a fire. It was a fun filled day with beautiful weather.

Life is Good when you play outside all day and have one on one time with Hannah!!

PS...Daddy did a great job with the other 3, but was very tired when we got home.
