Hot, Hot and some more HOT!!!!
That would describe the weather here.
Since it is so hot, I have been wearing skirts more frequently than I had in the past.
I wore one the other day I bought from my friend, Barbie, many summers ago. I liked the style, so decided to see if she still had the pattern.....She did! However, it was a paper one, so she wasn't able to easily pass it along.
I decided to just use the skirt I had as a guide and wing it.
I used some of the fabric I found here a few weeks ago, and I think it turned out pretty cute:

Later this week, I plan to wear the top I made for these high temperatures.
Life is Good...even if it is hot!
