Trip to Thailand--Day 1

Our crew of 8 went on a trip to Thailand this week.

We took a short Air Asia flight (just over an hour) from KL to the island of Phuket on Monday.  Our flight was at 6:55 am.  It was an early morning, but everyone was happy and had a smile on their face.

The Thai written language uses symbols to represent sounds.  I tried to find an easy explanation online, but wasn't finding one....Numbers seemed a bit easier, so here is what 0-10 looks like.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite at the Swissotel.  The room had a great location...it was on the first floor with access to the pool.  However, it was at the end so we didn't hear extra noise or have people walking by the room.

The hotel was off by itself, except for this little strip of shops.  We visited the gift shop many times, and Justin snuck out one night for a massage....He really did sneak out....He went back out after the girls and I went to bed and had a massage at 9:30(remember we had been up since 3:30, so we were all exhausted)...Didn't know he did it until the morning.
Since we arrived to the hotel so early, we were able to catch breakfast since it was open until 11:00.  After eating the girls headed straight for the pool.

They went down the slide MANY times...I did it a few times too!

These 4 were more into the swimming and not sliding!!!

Living in a Muslim country, we haven't had a lot of bacon.
The Chesnuts ate more than their fair share each morning.
Since Whitney slept through breakfast she ate hers by the pool and decided to eat her bacon on the pool steps.
 Cheers!!!
 Lunch Break

Same kid, same pools steps
Different greasy snack and missing a swimsuit!!!!!
Quick swimsuit change and a stop to buy some shades and we were off to the beach

Whit napped and then wasn't a fan of the sand, so no pictures of her.

The girls made pizzas with the kids club and the adults(and Whitney) enjoyed a nice Thai meal.

Life is Good with a fun in the sun vacation!
