Menara KL

On Tuesday, we did more sight seeing downtown.  The girls were back in school this week, but my brother and his girlfriend were now part of our crew.
We started at the Petronas Towers..........
.........and then walked to the other tall tower in town.

The Menara KL is a telecommunications tower that reaches up 421 meters....The 7th tallest in the world.

Along with the tower, there are a few other attractions to visit at its base.

Dancers with a traditional Malay dance greeted us.

The first stop was up the elevator to the observation deck. It was really neat to get a 360 degrees bird's eye view of the city we have been exploring.
National Mosque (Blue umbrella shaped top)

National Palace(Istana Negara in Malay)

Twin Towers
At this point, Whit was really needing a nap, but willing to hang out in her stroller.
Whitney only say the Atmosphere 360 (a revolving restaurant) for a few minutes.  She was not willing to sit in her high chair and eat lunch.....She headed home with Melona who joined us for the day.
An extra, free exhibit was the cultural village.
There were examples of houses that could be found in the different states of Malaysia.

Our last stop was the aquarium.  This aquarium wasn't very expensive, but it also wasn't very impressive.  If you love fish, I would go to the aquarium at KLCC.  This one only had a few fresh and salt water fish.

Life is Good with tower tours!
