A Day at the Zoo

Today, I ventured to the zoo with the Littles.  I am so glad I did because it was great.

We were able to see all of the animals really well and get up close and personal with them!!!
Whitney was able to see everything from her stroller, so I didn't have to chase after her.
Since it was a school day, the zoo wasn't busy at all.  While walking around we only really saw a school group of younger high school kids.  They loved the girls and kept talking to them and talking pictures of them!

The tapir we had seen at the MN zoo.

It seems like at most zoos I have been to in the past you can't really see the lion because he is hiding.
Not this guy!!!!!
We spent a lot of time watching the tigers.  Again, usually they are hiding somewhere under cover and you don't ever see them walk around.
These tigers were playing and would sneak up on one another.

I loved watching them....Macy finally asked me if we could move onto another animal!

We watched most of the animal show, but the girls were getting hungry for lunch.
Someone even took a picture of the 3 of us while we were waiting for it to start.

For lunch, we had fried rice, chicken nuggets, Mandarin oranges and Corn in a Cup....It was yummy!!!
We ended the day with some much needed ice cream---it was hot!!!
I am looking forward to taking the Bigs back sometime soon.  We only saw about a 1/4 of the park, and Hannah will love seeing all the animals so close up.

Another Corn in a Cup stand.
Life is Good when you can actually see the animals at the zoo!!!!!
