Yesterday, Macy asked when were going to go to Malaysia.....I explained we were there and she said...."No, the Malaysia with our house!!!!" So, today on the way to see the house for the first time, she said, "Now we are finally going to Malaysia." .....Love how a 4 year old mind works.
When we first signed the contract on the house the move in date was set for January 15th. We were asked a few weeks ago to extend it to January 31st. Rather than have them rush to get it done and not think too kindly of us...we said ok. It has not been too bad living in the extended stay hotel so far, but may get a bit old after 2 more weeks.
When we went to the house today we found many AC units ready to be installed!!!!!
The girls loved(until they got too hot) going room to room and deciding who would have each one.
After lunch, the girls had their entrance assessments for school. They all think the tests went well and we should hear back in the next few days about their start date. I think ALL of us are ready for a daily routine to start. The testing took a little longer than we expected. They took the girls one at a time and it took 2 and a half hours....thankfully Whitney did great waiting. We were in the library and were able to watch a few classes come in, meet a few teachers and parents.
While at school we ran into a very nice mom we met at our first visit in October. She volunteered to take me to a grocery store. I am happy to report that we now have cabinets full of American brands and some nonAmerican brands that she recommended. Justin made spaghetti for dinner tonight and everyone will be going to bed with a full tummy!!!!!
