Back at School

The last few days have been filled with driving around town with our driver, Fued, and finding out where things are!  I now have a cell phone with a Malaysian number and we have been to a few more malls in the area.  There are 2 main cell phone service carriers, DiGi and Maxis.  They do it a bit differently here from the US.  You can get a phone anywhere and then just get the service from them.  I wanted to just use my US phone, so first we set it up that way.......This was a long experience with all 4 girls.  It turns out my Sim card was locked so Justin went back in later while the girls, Fued and I waited.  This was also a very long experience, but at least they were contained in their carseats!!!!!  I have a very overpriced iPhone 5, but the monthly fees are very low....I guess it will all even out in the end!
We also went to the girls' school for an orientation.  We decided to get a babysitter for the little girls so we could focus on what we were being told at the school.  Whitney didn't seem to mind it, but Macy said it was the worst day ever.  I think she may have been exaggerating a bit, but to make it up to her we went and got our nails done.

For about $5 each the girls got a mini mani and pedi.  The loved that they used lotion for a little massage!!!
The nail salon was on the upper level of a grocery store a long with a few other shops---hardware type store, pharmacy and hair salon.  While we did nails, Justin got his hair cut.

Today, the girls start school!!!!!  Hannah was very excited and Kaylee was a little nervous.  We met both teachers yesterday and they seemed really nice.  When we first applied for school, we were told there was a wait list for grade 2.  They had enough interest that they opened another class.  Including Hannah, there are 7 kids in her class.  The other 6 of them started yesterday.  By the end of the month they will have 3 more new students.  I think this will be great that everyone in needed to meet friends and learn about living in Malaysia. Kaylee is number 15 in her class.  Her teacher has worked in other international schools so I am sure she is very good about getting new students involved!  We bought 4 uniforms for each and Hannah will begin changing for PE next week.  Getting ready for school was very easy this morning since we didn't have to battle about what they were going to wear!!!!!
Now I am down to 2 little buddies during the day.  We are still looking for a space for Macy since the preschool class at the girls' school was full.  She is already confirmed there for the fall though!
Today, we are meeting with a friend's maid to get some insight on what a maid does and how we should go about finding one.

Life is Good when you start a routine!
