Arts and Crafts

Yesterday afternoon, we ventured over to the Great Eastern Mall.  It was our first experience with a taxi in the city....and it was an experience!!!  All 6 of us and two strollers fit in a small 4 door cab.
 How is that possible?!?!?!!?
Justin in the front with the driver and me in the back with all 4 girls........Monday we get our rental van and driver.  It will be nice to have someone to show us around and use the girls' carseats from home.

We went to the mall because when we were here in October we saw an indoor 2-level playland with slides and tunnels.  It was called Kiz Sports and Gym.  Once we got there the play area was really busy with a few birthday parties and the girls weren't too sure about playing.

Instead they went to the arts and crafts area(4 years old and over) for an hour and did some painting.  There were pre cut cardboard projects they could choose from.  They painted them and the teachers helped them add details with black marker.

The best part was we could drop them off for an hour!!!!!  If they are old enough you can also drop them off in the play area---wish there was a place like this at Indiana malls!!!!

While they were there we looked at some outdoor furniture, checked out a grocery store and walked through Toys R Us.  Whitney again loved waving to everyone and riding on the escalators.

Here's what they ended up with:

They have already asked to go back.

We are back from breakfast and busy with painting and puzzles while Whit naps.  It is raining, but we hope it stops soon so we can walk to the aquarium.
We also need to explore a different grocery store for the girls.
"This Malaysia food is nasty" was Kaylee's quote of the day yesterday!  Everything tastes just a little bit different.  Only Whit really likes the milk.  We bought hotdogs and even Justin wasn't going to eat one last night for dinner.  Thank goodness Pizza Hut delivers(we have had it for dinner twice now) and everyone seems to like the fruit!

Life is Good with crafts......but we are a little hungry!!!!

  1. I wonder if your car seats will fit there. We had to buy new b/c of the width of the ones from the US were too big for European cars.
